I see a Wiki as a brilliant way of presenting and storing information, but I see Etherpad as a way of working through ideas and making notes. The collaboration presentation was very informative (didn't know that if *6* students all wrote to a wiki at the same time, it would go horribly wrong.) Shall try Etherpad for that - even though it looks a tad dull. It clearly has true collaborative use.
